Hi, I’m Lucy!

I first learned to sew from my mom when I was 13 years old. We made my Grade 7 grad outfit together. A pink two piece cropped top and skirt in a baby pink cotton with delicate flowers all over it. Wearing something that I made from scratch (with significant help from my mom) was an incredible feeling, and frankly, the look was iconic.

As an adult I’ve come back to sewing in a major way. It started with buying a basic sewing machine to alter and repair the clothes in my closet, and is now a full blown obsession, creating original garments from second-hand textiles. Here you will find the fruits of my obsession for you to wear and love for years to come.
